Paraedolia is the tendency to see faces or other patterns where there are none. Man in the moon, Jesus on toast, that sort of thing.
Saturday Karen and I were driving near Jacksonville Beach. The sign below looked like a demonic face to me.

Karen said it looked like Frank Zappa to her.
Today we stopped and took a closer look:

Anyway, we both thought it was a good example of paraedolia!

Might as well learn it right.
I was corrected on another site. My mistake. The correct spelling is pareidolia.
