WTF is wrong with those idiots?
-
As best I can make out, there weren’t any armed kidnappers at the location the victim was being held. If there were, the FBI would have been sure to make that fact known.
-
Seems like LEO have become mainly a one-trick-pony. Maybe someone gets stopped and gets a traffic ticket, but beyond that, the next page of the book is get the gun out and shoot someone. There's no more talking, no more investigation, no more brain engagement, just Blam! shoot and then figure out what happened. Jeezalou.
-
Jump to conclusions much?
-
It is what it is. FBI gets called, they have ONE JOB. Save the kidnap victim.
Failure is the only option.

Are you saying that the FBI never has a success? That they always fail?
-
Yes, that's what I'm saying. It is clearly one of those hyperbolic exaggerations often found in the internets. Has the FBI had a success? Ever? Ok, ya got me. Have they had a remarkable string of massive failures in the past few decades? Oh - hell - yes.
Shall we go over all the previous hyperbolic threads here? Sure - I'm here all week, don't forget to tip your server.

Well, the cop is going home after his shift, and the hell with the perp (because we are all perps to a cop.)

LEO lives matter. Ours don't.

Your wasn't a hyperbolic exaggeration. It was an absolute. And it was wrong.
Yeah, of course the FBI makes mistakes. That is what makes the news. When they do their job right, which is most of the time, it rarely makes the news.
edit to add:
Yes, I do tip my servers; extremely well.
-
Absolute statements in the realm of human endeavor are nearly always hyperbola and/or exaggeration.
To those with a reasonable grasp of context. We're I writing a thesis or documenting technical procedure, I would have written differently. Its Spin Zone, on a web board, on the internets.

We have to many levels of law enforcement spending way too much money. FBI, DEA, BATF, Secret Service, and all the weaponized agencies with their own little armies. Add to that State, and Local law enforcement, and their are more cops running around than illegal aliens.

The list is a little longer than that (I know you knew that). Department of Education, HHS, etc.

Much of this expansion in badged and sworn officers is yet another plum in the hat of civil asset forfeiture. Only a sworn peace officer can make a claim, and take assets from citizens(except in the case of the IRS, which has the power to take everything instantly). All revenue generated by budgetary decisions. Dept of Ed is low on funds? Get some cops sworn in, and start seizing peoples cars, homes, boats, cash, etc. Take the stuff - prove your case later, or not.

Thanks Stan. That is disgusting. We have become a Police State. I have no problem with law enforcement, but this reminds me of East Germany. STASI around every corner.
