Hey, where are those rich celebrities? Aren't they gonna chip in and help out?
And what about the Dem millionaires in the congress and senate? Aren't they gonna help?
And of course Bill and Hillary, I mean, c'mon, they could spare a few million.

They ain't giving to the DNC, but that doesn't mean they aren't giving.
Party officials say the funding figures are not as dire as they may appear, as donors are more likely to give to individual candidates than to monolithic groups like the DNC or its counterpart, the Republican National Committee.
“Democratic candidates across the country are out-hustling and out-organizing Republican incumbents, many of whom have not faced a competitive challenge in a very long time and are struggling to find those old campaign muscles,” the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee said Friday, pointing to Republican incumbents trailing their Democratic challengers in fundraising in dozens of House races.
I hope that partial news stories like these don't make Rs complacent. November is going to be a tough fight with serious repercussions possible.

Soros will rescue them.

As an investor, the ROI on the Dems has been an absolute trainwreck since 2008. There was a modest rally in 2012, just enough to put BO back in office, but the congress went right, and the senate finally went right, and in 2016 it was a DNC bloodbath. Big losses in every county, state, nation.
http://brilliantmaps.com/2016-county-election-map/ tells the story. Anyone with half a brain is going to keep their checkbook in their pocket for now. The DNC has to show some gains of some kind to get back to business as usual. The DNC/Clinton campaign outspent RNC/Trump by almost 3:1. ($12/vote vs $5/vote?) and they still got whipped. I sometimes try to imagine what the popular vote would have been if there had been equal spending by both parties.
When I was young and stupid in college I gave the DNC $120. I would have paid more to get Nixon defeated by anything with a pulse. It haunts me still... Talk about your no win scenario.

This is not unlike the RNC running low because the regular donors were so disgusted with the ineptness of the RNC. Still, Trump won, and the GOP kept the house and senate. Take note boys and girls, the Dems are down but not out.
