I guess Mueller and Cohen are more popular on this site than the events of SW1380.
What I want to know is: CNN is saying the single fatality was “sucked out” of the plane. Is it more proper that she was “blown out”?
And sexual puns in 3...2...1...

I don't think it is either more or less proper. It is "six in one and a half dozen in the other".
Do you think a vacuum cleaner sucks in dirt, or does it merely accumulate dirt that the higher pressure in the atmosphere pushes into the lower pressure area of the vacuum?

Pilots make a big deal about there being no such thing as centrifugal force. Shouldn't sucked vs blown out matter too?

WTF?

I had just delivered a diatribe to my lady students that more them should become pilots (only 6% of pilots are female). They're all sharp as tacks, and I think they'll all do really well, so they should address this.
Lo and behold, the pilot with nerves of steel who landed the crippled airliner was a woman.

WTF?
Centrifugal force doesn’t exist its a reaction to centripetal force.

It doesn't take nerves of steel to land a twin OEI. The decompression, except for the one unfortunate victim, was almost incidental since the flight wouldn't have continued to the destination anyway. The descent was almost leisurely. The PIC being female added nor subtracted anything material and was hardly "heroic." That's what they are trained to do.
That being said, she is certainly a role model for young females (I think the word "women" may trigger someone.)

This incident wasn't Sully Part Deux. Any ATP could do what the crew of 1380 did.
