I’d be interested in what some of you think about this. I’d like to see it from your perspective if possible.

If everything was as reported, I think the employees that called the cops should be punished.  To what extent I'm not sure.
But I think the cops were within their right as they were responding to a complaint.
And I don't think Starbucks Inc. is at fault at all,

And apparently, considering the support from the other customers, I believe it went down pretty much as reported.  It is a shame that happened.  I hope the young men involved accept the corporate apology (and some sort of compensation).

That said:  I used to own a business.  It was a professional business with very little walk-in traffic.  Occasionally people would come in just to use the bathroom.  We would let them, but it almost always ended badly (as in trashed, bathrooms with poop and paper all over the place).  A minority of the times they were black.  I don't blame any business for not wanting non-customers using their facilities.

I smell a setup.

The event in Starbucks was not a race problem, it was a business problem. It only turned into a race problem when the two idiots would not leave the business, or buy a product.

If this seems simplistic, it is just that. I have no doubt the entire liberal establishment is rising up in righteous indignation that two jmokes were tossed out of a store for trying to do their own business in someone else's store.

BTW I despise StarBucks, but they are ubiquitous and when I need some internet I go in and pay for a small cup of tea. Their tea is typically stale, and bland, no matter what I order, it's not a core product, and it sits on the shelf a long time. I can tell, as I've been drinking fine tea for decades. But - no matter. I'm in a business, so I engage in THEIR business, not mine.

Oh, and another BTW - when I have an important business meeting I always dress in dirty sweat pants, hoodie, and T shirt. Sets the right tone that says 'hire me!' :P
