Title: University of Texas to Treat Masculinity as a 'Mental Health' Issue
Post by: Lucifer on April 29, 2018, 06:46:14 PM
I actually thought this was a parody at first, but no, they are serious.

Quote
The Counseling and Mental Health Center at the University of Texas at Austin recently launched a new program to help male students “take control over their gender identity and develop a healthy sense of masculinity.”

Treating masculinity as if it were a mental health crisis, “MasculinUT” is organized by the school’s counseling staff and most recently organized a poster series encouraging students to develop a “healthy model of masculinity.”

The program is predicated on a critique of so-called “restrictive masculinity.” Men, the program argues, suffer when they are told to “act like a man” or when they are encouraged to fulfill traditional gender roles, such as being “successful” or “the breadwinner.”

And in case you are wondering, Austin has become the new home for fleeing Californians and is rapidly getting in the same mindset of California.

You live to stir the pot, don't you?  Do you actually research all these or are you just reposting the most ridiculous stories from a particular site?

I take it you think this is a good thing?  Men should check their masculinity at the door?

The mass exodus of middle, and upper middle income earners from California is creating problems for other states.  They flee what their liberal/progressive policies create.  Higher cost of living, higher taxes, great poverty/homeless, horrible regulation, horrible gun laws.  Essentially a less free, nanny state.  Then they move, and want to create the same thing where they now live.

Liberals and liberal trolls LOVE to attack the family, respect for individual rights, masculinity, free thought, free speech, religion and everything else that separates people from the belief that they can be self-reliant.

Liberals and liberal trolls LOVE to replace that with fear, poverty, limited, or no choices, adoration of the state and fear of ostracism for daring to disagree with liberals and liberal trolls.

California is a cesspool of stupidity, cheered on by self-loathing, stupid people, called liberals.

In other words, "We don't approve of calling our 'Masculinity is Mental Health Crisis,' program a 'Masculinity is Mental Health Crisis,' program. Therefore we instruct you to refer to it in less correct, but far more politically correct term.

Got it.

How easy it has become to translate liberal speak.

Its goals include helping men explore ways to reduce sexual violence, helping students take responsibility for their actions, and fostering healthier relationships on campus and beyond.

Sounds great, asechrest! Men are gonna totally open up about all their weaknesses, sexual aggression problems, fears, and relationship issues! And presto, problems solved!

See if you can get your stepson in on that stuff whilst he is young and trainable. Get such a program started in his school! Because the State is a better parent than you, right? Or at least it's your trusty assistant!

While you're at it, make sure your stepdaughter has some self defense training. I'm sure you're on track with modeling for her how a man should treat a woman, and what a healthy relationship looks like.

Don't come back at me with "It's healthy to address these issues in the appropriate forums, blah blah." Most people with a working brain would know that all the problems this program supposedly will address are best addressed at home, by parents.

"Helping students take responsibility for their actions." Hahahaha! It's statements like these that make us ridicule these knee-jerk, virtue-signalling programs, asechrest.

The publicity materials don't agree with the school's statement.

Easy there, killer. I posted UT's statement, nothing more. Maybe YOU should consider some self defensiveness courses?

Is that pajama boy? Isn't he obama's biggest fanboy?

What a fucking useless, moron. No wonder he was chosen to be UT's poster child for pathetic, helpless and stupid.

What ultimately happens to a society where homosexuality is normal and fine, but masculinity is abolished? When will "toxic femininity" come under the knife?

Good question.  If someone were to arrive from another planet, and watch our Media, and Entertainment (TV, movies, etc) they'd think being Gay is normal, all Men are stupid, foolish dolts, and women, and girls are smart, "in the know", clever, and run everything.

Everything the Left does is masked as a way to right past wrongs, but their real goal is retribution, and punishment of White Males.

THANKS!!!

I don't see much difference.

What would a woman see in a pathetic loser like that????

Does he come when called, sleep on the floor, wipe his spouse's ass and speak only when yelled at?
