Reality can really be a bitch sometimes......
http://theweek.com/articles/802798/how-mueller-fairy-tale-ends
I feel bad for them, in the way that I feel bad for kids who are about to discover that the Tooth Fairy is fake. After 17 months of appending compound adjectives ("Russia-linked," "Kremlin-backed") to the names of an increasingly obscure cast of characters accused of things like sending spam emails and holding pointless meetings that went nowhere, it looks like we are finally getting close to the end of the Mueller probe. A report in Politico suggests that what skeptics have argued for more than a year and a half is true: namely, that Mueller and his team have not found any smoking-gun evidence of "collusion" between Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and the Russian government because no such collusion took place.
It's going to be a letdown. Not only is it likely that the final report will not reveal that the president has been a KGB agent since the late '80s, as at least one mainstream liberal columnist fantasized. It is also possible that it will never even be released to the public, at least not in full. Unless they are granted permission to review them under various conditions that will be imposed by the Department of Justice, not even members of Congress will be able to read Mueller's findings. For reasons that have as much to do with Mueller's own personality and style as they do with the sensitive nature of the material, the text itself is unlikely to be the sweeping anti-Trump manifesto that the president's fiercest liberal critics are longing for. There is every reason to believe that it will be a straightforward, minimally expansive document that does not volunteer information that is not absolutely relevant to the main findings.

The tip off is how suddenly the communist (democrat) media stopped portraying every fart from mueller as earth shattering. He will quickly take his lace beside anita hill and `david hogg as former useful idiots of the communist democrat) party.

Yup, this one just slowly fades from history. Of course, all that tax money down the rat hole...

Consider it for what ultimately become: The biggest opposition research into a candidate for the 2020 elections. You can bet information gathered from this will be used against the President coming up in 2020.

I was under the impression that his investigation has resulted in quite a few indictments and a few guilty pleas and convictions. Am I missing something?

Just that if you put any dozen politicians under the microscope, you would find enough to elicit almost a dozen guilty pleas and convictions.
I'm not defending the crooks on one side or the other, but a focused investigation based on political agenda is not something I expect in our "great experiment".

The only convictions, to date, had nothing to do with “collusion” which is what Mueller was supposed to be looking for. You also might remember he indicted some Russians, a company actually. That company actually showed up in court and totally caught Mueller and his team quite by surprise. Judge is threatening to throw that case out as Mueller and his team have not been able to back up the indictment.

Yep, a lot actually.
So far there has been no indictment of "Russian Collusion" between the Trump campaign and the Russians. None.
What we have seen is indictments of several russian actors who supposedly put some memes on social media. We have seen an indictment of a guy named Paul Manafort for tax evasion, having nothing whatsoever to do with the Trump campaign or russian collusion.
We've seen some petty players get slapped with "Lying to the FBI" charges, again, unrelated to any "Russian Collusion". We saw Gen Flynn get questioned by the FBI and the investigators determined he was telling the truth, only to have that flipped and he got charged with "Lying to the FBI".
But, so far there has been lots of evidence uncovered that does detail a russian collusion scandal with a 2016 campaign. We now know that the campaign colluded with a foreign agent to work with the russians and develop a "dossier". The money that was paid was funneled through a DC law firm by the campaign. Then, the campaign had operatives leak portions of the dossier while their other operatives got the dossier to the DoJ/FBI so it could be used as a basis of a FISA warrant. Many bureaucrats within the FBI/DoJ that had a working relationship with the campaign opened an investigation on the opponent, and even called it "Operation Crossfire Hurricane" and planted spies in that campaign. These bureaucrats also developed an "insurance policy" just in case the opposition candidate got elected.
That campaign that was involved? None other than Hillary Clinton.
Mountains of evidence, but for some reason Bob Mueller doesn't want to investigate that. Wonder why?

How about the fact that the Russian efforts to sway the election were done under Obama's watch, AND Obama knew about it and did nothing. Why isn't THAT being investigated? Perhaps because the targets are more important to the investigation than the the truth.

BTW, what law would “collusion” violate?

None.
Collusion is not against the law.
