Slightly off topic, but I wonder how you (and Level Wing) define "progressive". To me, it means moving forward with improvement. I wouldn't use that in reference to Democrats.
Another definition that could be aptly applied has to do with taking things one step at a time, sort of like the camel getting his nose in the tent.

There was even a point that they attached themselves to “environmentalist” to disguise their true identity.

^^^^^^^They had a saying in Europe thirty years ago, when I was going there for work a lot. GREEN = RED. The Statist/Globalist/Communists have been trying to disguise who and what they are since WWII. Progressive is just another term for them as they certainly are NOT a Liberal in the classic sense.

Anyone who thinks the Progressive movement isn't socialist, google the Vermont Progressive Party. It's pretty much written into their platform. "Social justice" and "economic equality" are the main themes (and other "Green" platform planks such as divestment from the fossil fuel industry and decommissioning nuclear plants). Although he's not officially affiliated with the party, Bernie Sanders's positions and their positions are pretty much the same. Basically, taking from the successful and (ostensibly, anyway) giving to the poor.
Maybe it's because I live here, but I never thought there was anything "disguised" about it. Our lieutenant governor is a Progressive, many of the state reps and senators are Progressives.

For anyone who actually reads history it's easy to see through them and their agendas. They have infiltrated and gained control of the DNC, and they are making headway to gain control of the RNC.
Single party rule is coming to this country. Once they flip Texas and Florida blue, there will never be another conservative elected to the WH, and the legislative branch will never see conservative control. The judicial branch will follow with alt left progressive judges.
The groundwork is being laid right before us. The election of 2018 was the test run, and 2020 will be an all out assault.

What is JUSTICE? What is Social, and Economic "JUSTICE"? It is a big lie designed to fool people they can get something for NOTHING, and that all of a sudden, the Elite Powers that BE will now deem you worthy to get all the stuff you want, all the stuff you wish to have, and "deserve".
Make, no mistake. Humans neither want, nor can survive UTOPIA. However, it is the sirens song that sells both the under achievers, and those that feel guilty for achieving. It enables those that have achieved to feel less guilty, and better about themselves.

We wouldn't use that definition because we don't agree...and they will not be open about...what direct "forward" is. They want to move, but they refuse to talk about where they want to move to.
