There is no turning back for the Democrats. They have jumped the shark for the last time. Did you see Hirono from Hawaii? She spent her time slandering Barr without even a valid question.
McConnell needs to eliminate the filibuster now and pound through Trumps promises. Because when the democrats like Hirono take the Senate some day they will eliminate it in a New York minute.

Let them go for it. Kinda hard to impeach someone when there is zero evidence of a crime. Let them draw up the articles in congress, and let's see their "evidence".
Then lets see how many dims in competitive districts are willing to vote yes, or even better, how many Never Trump R's are willing to vote on it.
There are not enough votes in the senate to convict and remove. This would be the ending act of the ultimate clown show.

When the republicans impeached Bubba, and they failed to get a conviction, all it done for them is to get Clinton reelected.

What they'll do is scream loud and often repeating the same BS until the public demands trials, impeachment, etc. They don't give a DAMN about facts or truth only that the Dims are in power. They'll do anything to achieve their purpose. My observation over the years is what they accuse other people or parties of is usually what they have done themselves.

This moment in Senate history came to mind when listening to Hawaii’s Democratic Senator Mazie Hirono say the following to the Attorney General of the United States — Bill Barr — at a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Said Hirono:
“Mr. Barr, now the American people know that you’re no different than Rudy Giuliani or Kellyanne Conway or any of the other people who sacrificed their once-decent reputation for the grifter and liar who sits in the Oval Office. Being attorney general of the United States is a sacred trust. You have betrayed that trust. America deserves better. You should resign.”
Got that? A United States Senator used a formal hearing of the United States Senate Judiciary Committee to call the President of the United States “the grifter and liar who sits in the Oval Office.” Then she attacked the Attorney General for having “betrayed” his office and sacrificing his own quite sterling reputation.
Her words had the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman, South Carolina’s Lindsey Graham, quickly admonishing Hirono, saying:
“You have slandered this man from top to bottom. If you want more of this you’re not going to get it.”

Hirono is irrelevant and has been ever since she's been in office. She was pandering to her far left base in a far left state. Hawaii is largely controlled by Asians who are mostly huge progressives. I would ignore whatever she says, and I am sure Barr did just that.

But where does it stop? We just witnessed a republican congressman get censured (Steve King) because of an ambush interview by the NYT where his comments were taken out of context. We even had the establishment republicans jump in.
What Crazie Mazie did was reprehensible. Where is Mitch McConnell?? At least Sen Graham had the balls to rebuke her.
Until these representatives and senators are held accountable this will continue and get way out of control.

In the letter dated March 27, Mueller objected to Barr's March 24 memo because it "did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance" of the 22-month investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible obstruction of justice by President Trump. Mueller called on Barr to alleviate public confusion by releasing the report's introduction and executive summary for each volume.
McCarthy, who is a contributing editor at National Review, wrote in an opinion piece on Friday it was no coincidence a letter format was used. The letter, which he said was "undoubtedly" written by Mueller's staff, was leaked to the Washington Post in the evening Tuesday, just before Barr testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee about Mueller's investigation, and was publicly released the following morning.

I think he lost it in the end trying to claim that having a special prosecutor was anti-constitution because it interfered with the reign of the president. That bit of stretching it was unnecessary and casts a shadow on the true stuff that came before it.
