I listened while doing other things. Interesting part is, Piers is a liberal, yet he admonishes the craziness going on with the progressives. And much of it is spot on.
Plus his take on the President is interesting.

I always listen to those things while doing other stuff. I like to pipe it into my hearing aids while I wash dishes or do other mindless stuff and I can push the noise cancel button so I only hear the the streaming audio. It’s kind of neat.

I love doing that. Sometimes it makes me glad to wear hearing aids. Talking on the phone is crystal clear. I listen to music or news on the iphone while taking a walk. I even stream clips from my PC directly to my hearing aids and nobody else around can hear. They also function as a fitness counter, although that function still needs work.

That interview was great and gives me hope (other than the gun control rant). He is a liberal who doesn’t cotton to the fascism that the extreme left has become. That’s a good thing. He even reversed his position on Brexit because he saw how the will of the common person is being arrogantly dismissed. This means at core he’s not a knee jerk totalitarian but actually thinks things through. Even his position on gun control was well thought out - wrong of course, but well defended, not just an emotional “because guns are scary”.
There are cracks in his logic but most might be his lack of factual data. For example, “you don’t need a large capacity mag to go hunting” displays his lack of insight into needing a large cap mag just for convenience when target shooting which shows his lack of knowledge about exactly who owns most “assault” rifles and what we do with them.
Comparing smoking to assault rifles is flawed - second hand smoke bothers people everywhere but mass shootings are extremely rare. It’s a terrible analogy, but at least he constructs an analogy and truly seems to believe it would be better and safer to ban these guns, as opposed to say Beto, whose “Hell yeah we are taking your ARs” is so obviously fueled by his premise of innate superiority over “gun clinging deplorables” and his salivating glee at the thought of forcing us to part with our guns.
This guy, at least in this interview, sees the opposition as actual people with rights where Beto and the rabid left in the U.S. see us as something less.

Wait. This is supposed to be an echo chamber, with most of us only listening to Sean Hannity 24/7. What in the hell are you doing listening to a liberal- a foreign one no less? You’d better get your act together, sir, because a certain leftist has a stereotype of us that we are bound to maintain.

IKR? At the same time I think Hannity gets a lot of credit for hounding this issue and bringing it to light (“this issue” is really many issues but you know what I mean. Everything from Hillary’s emails to the dossier to the deep state leftist corruption and so on).
But I am getting really frustrated from two years of it’s all getting ready to blow up in their faces and yet somehow it’s still managing to stay under the surface. That part isn’t Hannity’s fault but him being constantly over optimistic about it all finally coming to light in a results way, is.
The corruption is SO deep, and the news outlets so corrupt, that it’s very very difficult to make it happen. Because of the corrupt media, half the country thinks it’s all the other way around. Trump did quid pro quo not Biden, Trump colluded with Russia, not Hillary, and so on.
You have to remember these people have no rules. There is probably a lot of threats and bribes going on keeping progress from happening. For one thing, a lot hangs on William Barr, but now they are going after HIM for God’s sake (talk of impeaching him).
We really really need to see criminal indictments happen, and soon.

BINGO!!! I fear we won’t see that, but if the electorate doesn’t see these deep staters pay for their traitorous behavior, all hope and faith in the rule of law will be eliminated.
