Seriously though, try taking OTC zinc supplements that target cold viruses - allegedly helps some - provided it is done as soon as symptoms show up.

I had a bad flu once that lasted over two weeks, closer to three, back in the early to mid 90's. Ugh, it was awful. Then the symptoms would go away then come back for a while.

I will pass that along to my sister who lives with mom. When mom gets a cold it’s total misery and she takes forever to recover (she’s 93). I was going to spend this week with them to do moms taxes but canceled the trip just because I don’t want to make her sick. Now I have to do her taxes from a distance. Yet one more reason to procrastinate and hang out on this forum.
