The towns happily take property taxes which support services year round for the fulltime resident, but treat the summer crowd with contempt.
I think people who normally visit such communities should boycott them. Those communities rely on tourism, let them reap what they sow.

My family has owned a home at the South Jersey shore since 1942. My aunt who now owns and maintains the property is 78, and spends at least six months out of the year there is NOT allowed to go to her own home at this time. So, I guess almost 80 years of Property and Real Estate taxes doesn't buy you access. Not to mention all the other stuff we've paid for.How are they stopping her to access the property?

They Governor issued an Executive Order which is being repeated, and implemented by the local leadership of each community (Mayors, etc). I do not know HOW they are enforcing it.

Murphy signed an executive order on March 21 urging state residents to stay at home to help mitigate the spread of coronavirus. The order also mandated that all non-essential businesses close and banned gatherings of all sizes.

My PA LTCF (CCW permit) is not recognized in New Jersey. No reciprocity. I'd be an instant FELON if I went there armed and be put in jail for many YEARS, no questions asked. Same with MD, NY, CT, and several other nearby states. ::)
But, yeah I've offered relationship advice. No takers. ;D
