Baltimore Ravens Safety Earl Thomas Turns to Social Media After Incident with Wife. The Austin (Texas) Police Dept. were called to a home in the area on April 13 at 3:41 a.m. after getting a call about a potential disturbance, according to the report by TMZ. The officers arrived and claimed they saw Nina Thomas with a knife in her hand chasing Earl Thomas, who was allegedly carrying a firearm. Both Nina and Earl Thomas complied when they were ordered to the ground by the officers, according to the report.
Nina Thomas was later arrested for suspected burglary of a residence with the intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the report. Earl Thomas was not arrested.
The incident allegedly began following an argument between the couple that later escalated when Nina Thomas found a video of Earl Thomas with another woman, according to the police report obtained by TMZ. Nina Thomas was reportedly able to track down Earl Thomas at an Airbnb rental carrying his 9mm Berreta to allegedly scare him and that's where the confrontation erupted, according to the report.
Earl Thomas was reportedly able to wrestle the gun from Nina Thomas before the police arrived.
Nina Thomas was later served with an emergency protective order that requires her to stay 200 yards away from Earl Thomas and his alleged mistress, according to court records obtained by TMZ.
"I am here to declare that my client unequivocally and categorically denies these allegations and we look forward to our day in court where we can clear her good name," Nina's attorney, Jonathan Goins told TMZ.
Earl Thomas signed a four-year, $55 million deal with Baltimore prior to the 2019 season. He finished the season with 49 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, four passes defended, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery, helping Baltimore’s defense rank No. 3 in points (17.6) and No. 4 in yards (300.6) allowed per game.
Thomas also earned a seventh trip to the Pro Bowl.

Wife needs to have her guns removed and license to have a gun taken away. She clearly does not understand them or the rules for use.

I think the husband has a PFA against her which means her guns will be automatically be removed without due process of law. So they don't even have to wait for her to be convicted of any of the charges against her. She could be looking at some real jail time too.

The “domestic abuse” culture focuses on women as victims but very often it’s the men, and it’s far more widespread than you would think. Men don’t have “battered men’s” shelters to go to and are often mocked if they try to get help. I sat on a jury for the murder trial of such a woman who ended up killing her man.

But according to the article, she was carrying his gun. I wonder how they're going to resolve that issue. (No, I don't really wonder...)

I guess he gets to keep it, but she needs to keep her distance from him and the gun until the PFA is lifted. These whack job chicks are out there.
