An AP story on "Trump approval ratings steady" has the usual bias and lies by omission
"A new poll from AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research shows that 41% of Americans approve of the president's job performance..." It says that is consistent with the approval rating before the pandemic. "The survey highlights one of the remarkable featuer's of Trump's [sic] tenure as president: Dispite steady drumbeats of controversies, an impeachment trial and how histori public health crisis, few Americans have changed their views of him." Notice has the article says nothing about the accomplishments of President Trump's 3 years in office, nor acknowledges in any way that the impeachment trial was an abomination, or anything else that could possibly be construed as positive.

I love how some people say how unbiased AP and Reuters are when, as we have witnessed, both are LEFTIST biased. Some of the drive by's that have come here like to promote this falsehood. The major problem is that AP and Reuters are picked up by every major "new" outlet and re-printed as FACT or real, unbiased news. Journalism is dead and has been totally replaced mostly by LEFTIST propaganda.

Today there was an AP story headline "Recession, virus struck U.S. together"
Is there anyone who thinks the recession wasn't caused by the overreaction to COVID-19?
anyone?

Have we had two consecutive quarters of negative growth?

Have we had two consecutive quarters of negative growth?
Don't know.
From the AP TDS article "A committee within the National Bureau of Economic Research, a trade group, determines when recessions begin and end. It broadly defines a recession as a 'decline in economic activity that lasts more than a few months'"
So, I'm guessing that different people define "recession" differently.
But if someone is strong with TDS, they'll grasp any definition in an attempt to be negative.
