I have heard several liberals state that there will be more violence during the inauguration. I's almost like they are hoping for it.
Outside of "normal" protests, do you expect anything close to the storming of the capitol to happen again?

It's really too bad that a lot of Americans never bothered with history and instead only follow the rewritten revisionist history they find in social media.
Take a good look at what we have been witnessing in the past year. The communist have gained total control of the democrat party as well as the republican establishment. We have CCP compromised people in all levels of our government, and soon in the WH. Big Tech has been working hand in hand with the CCP and you are now seeing the results. MSM has long been a democrat stronghold and they themselves are mimicking CCP policies and actions.
Look at the fear of the moderate democrats who voted the crazed Nancy Pelosi back in as Speaker. Under threat, the same tactics of the CCP, they would be vanished and erased for not bowing to the wishes of the party.
Next week the country of China and the CCP become the superpower of the world, a long sought after goal. They have successfully completed another chapter in their rise to power and are being assisted by our ruling political class.
Back to violence. Expect many false flag operations in which violence will happen so the blame can be assigned to groups who do not follow the party line. It's an old communist tactic and the DCP/MSM/Big Tech will help exploit it.
There is a 20,000 page bill for Patriot Act V2 sitting in congress right now that should have every American worried. Good luck on reading it or seeing it before they ram rod it through. The DCP will fill it with enough pork to feed the republican establishment to get the votes.

Does it matter? If they are ANTIFA/BLM they will get a pass. It's those MAGA hat wearing "domestic terrorist" the feds are after.

If nobody kills him on the 20th, he will be impeached on the 21st. One way or the other they will get rid of him and it looks like either way it will be blamed on GOP. I don’t care. GOP is dead to me.

I got my new voter registration card today. New party affiliation is "No Party Affiliation". Of course, I won't be able to vote in the primaries this year, but I can and will vote in the ones that count.

Texas does it differently. We don’t register in a party and in primaries we can choose which one to vote in. The only restriction is if there is a runoff we have to vote in the one we picked for that go round. I like this system better. Of course back in NC when I wanted to vote in the Democrat primary I just changed to Democrat but you have to do it in time.
But now I will never register either Democrat or Republican ever again if I ever move to another state. Probably never Libertarian either. All three have failed me miserably.

I’m NC now, you can vote in the Democrat primary if you are registered Democrat / Independent / no party.
But we’re still looking at moving to Texas. SWMBO wants to move to San Antonio. I’m in favor of Dallas. Actually I want to love to northern Florida, but that isn’t happening unless I move myself.
