I don't follow Tucker or FoxNews anymore, but ran across this, and it has many good points to consider.

So basically it’s a military coup.

So basically it’s a military coup.
Maybe this is a message to Trump.

Maybe this is a message to Trump.
It's a message to 80+ million who voted. It's also a message to the free states from the blue shitholes.
-
What EXACTLY is the government protecting with 30,000 National Guard troops from all 50 states? It certainly isn't about the remote possibility marauding Trump Patriots. I don't think it's just society theater either. Something else is afoot.

Already a few days old analysis, but an interesting read:

Yeah well. Either it's Trump finally getting ready to execute checkmate (it's about damn time), or it's everyone around him a traitor, deploying the military to protect a stolen election, sending "the signal" to us dangerous deplorables, and also big time closing the barn door after the horse has bolted.

Radio said all bridges into DC are closed. The left is afraid. As they should be.

Which military leader is setting themselves up as the president and which president are they replacing?
That's what a coup is. If you are as illogical as Democrats are being, you just empower them. Call it a coup when they're utilizing the national guard for (excessive) police security duties is a misuse of the word. It is an overreaction to be sure, but not a coup.
What I find mysterious about the whole thing is that it's obvious to me that most of the people who "stormed" the capitol were not there to try to take control of the government. For a lot of them, it seemed like a lark. There were no weapons, there were no masks, people were mostly smiling and I saw people laughing. But thanks to a very few - in my mind, probably planted there - the whole 500,000 people protesting have been silenced and the Left has disregarded the reason for their anger in the first place. Before they even take control of the government, they have already sent the message that they don't care what half the country thinks.

^^^^^This^^^^^
Have you noticed that one constant is the use of “armed” when talking about the “storming” of the Capitol?
I have not heard of a single use of a weapon except at the hands of the Capitol Police.

Fine, it’s not a military coup. It’s a fascist plutocracy establishing itself.

Seems like a fairly accurate description.
