It was the Supreme Court that allowed this. I bet the police can lie to you in China too.

Also this touches on the same subject the gaslighting post in whichever other thread, it is psychological manipulation.

This is why you always exercise your right to remain silent when dealing with cops.  It's perfectly legal for cops to lie to you but not the other way around.  Let that sink in.
