So on another forum I visit (recreational) we now have the "enlightened" pushing the forum owner into cancel culture, IOW's start moderating content of those views they disapprove and remove them.
Apparently for the woke, they cannot accept viewpoints they disapprove. Such tolerance. And they are cloaking their moderation (cancellation, censorship) by saying "If we just write about our hobby the forum will be much happier".
Cancel Culture is a cancer, and it's time to start pushing back on these Marxist wannabes.

It's going to get violent at some point. I am not saying I advocate that, but just my observation about where society is going.

That’s what the AOPA board did, ultimately banning any talk not aviation related and it ended up killing it.

Agree - most members there appear to be conservative or libertarian and are able to express their political views without being moderated or censored. It is very lightly moderated - it has a subforum equivalent to the old PoA spin zone called MOS that I’ve never felt the need to join because when political disagreements come up they aren’t squashed and tend to work themselves out on their own. In the cases where they don’t, the more offended member(s) generally leave the board.

Slightly right leaning I think, but also libertarian. No way I would call it leftist.
