Representative Brian Babin says Democrats are spending like a drunk sailor.

As a former drunk sailor, I object to that. It is well known that sailors will stop spending once they run out of money.

They are part of the problem and no better than Democrats in this regard. We allow it.

Republican politicians are still politicians.  They spend other people's money to buy votes.  They just aren't quite as blatant and prolific at it as Democrat politicians.  And I do tend to agree with "some" of their spending more-so than I agree with Democrat spending.  In my mind, spending money on defense and security is more important than making sure people are comfortable when not working and non productive. (except for me; I am not working any more either).
