Title: Reading recommendations

Reading recommendations - I'll kick it off

Book:  "Grit" by Angela Duckworth.

Why:  She examines the psychology of success, including "talent", practice, determination, motivation and so forth.  Although she (purposefully?) stays away from welfare and race, the information that she presents so clearly screams at what is going on with poverty and racial inequality that it really ought to be part of any ration conversation on the topics.

But since when do leftists want to have rational conversations about poverty or race?

Overall:  Good read - it's never riveting, but it flows and it's a new way to look at it.  TLDR version, you can find Angela Duckworth on TED Talks

My brother just bought me “Faucian Bargain” by Steve Deace. Anxious to read it.
