Also, the word "slave" is derived from Slav, as in, the Slavic people, who were enslaved for centuries. Hey! I have Slavic ancestry. My ancestors were probably enslaved by the Muslims, therefore I should hate all Muslims now. I think I'll go burn down a Wendy's.

Slavery is going on in the world right now, but not here.
Yet the rabid liberals and their propaganda arm refuse to acknowledge it. They also refuse to acknowledge their beloved CCP is actively enslaving people to this day.
And these idiots don’t know anything about the real history of slavery in the US, and it’s abolishment instead preferring to listen to the garbage of the 1619 Project.

I learned something recently about the 3/5 of a person thing. We have been told that when blacks were counted as only 3/5 of a person that was racist. But the truth was that the numbers of people in a state decided how many representatives they got and the more people they had the more power they had so it was the southern pro-slavery states that wanted to count blacks as a whole person, so they could continue slavery, because most blacks lived in the south at that point. The states that wanted to free slaves were the ones that wanted to count slaves as less than a whole person or even zero, so that the people count in the south was lower and the southern states didn’t have as much power, so the north could abolish slavery more easily.

Yes. Most people don’t know this. The North was asking for black people to count as 0 and the South wanted them to count as 1.
3/5 was the compromise to get the Constitution passed.
