Gainesville, Florida is a college town and subject to the typical Marxist professors and snowflake, asshole student without a clue to their name.
The asshole mayor ordered very brutal mask and utterly useless, mask mandate that was so unpopular almost nobody but the virtue signaling assholes even bothered to acknowledge.
I was in Gainesville multiple times in the few weeks, never wore a mask and never saw more than a handful of people wearing them, except what appeared to be college students and frightened old folks, brow beaten by the fuckwad communist democrats and media (there I go repeating myself).
Mayor Asshole lost his attempt to channel shit-for-brains gretchie whitmer and he's whining up a storm.
