We are less than a year away from the 2022 mid terms.
Right now the republicans are enjoying polls that indicate they will sweep both the house and the senate. The victory in Virginia is also showing state races where the republicans will pick up seats.
And what is the republican party telling it's constituents? Nothing.
No word on what they plan to do, no talking points on how to start digging out of the disaster Biden has created. Nothing. Just sit back, and hope for an easy election cycle and get back in power, and repeat the last time they had power.
McCarthy is also getting ready to assume his new role as Speaker. This is yet another disaster coming. McCarthy is a rehash of Paul Ryan. We do not need Frank Lutz's roommate as our Speaker, period.
Republicans are also supporting their RINO's for re-election. They never learn.
-
Well at least the Democrats aren’t learning either. They think the imminent red wave is because they haven’t pushed wokeness hard emough.

But also notice the dems aren't to concerned about the mid terms. Once again, they play the long game while the republicans are only content to be in power.
-
Perhaps they aren't concerned about the mid-terms because they know it's in the bag.

They are not concerned because they know the republicans will do nothing. The republicans only want to be in power, and will make deals with the progressives. Same happened under Boehner, and under Ryan.
This is why you are hearing nothing from the republicans.

100% correct. I’ve always said that the GOP sucks being in the congressional majority, and that they lust after being in the position as an ankle-biting minority party. They way you don’t have to lead.

Sort of like Hillary thought 2020 was in the bag?
-
Well this is why we need populists, not Republicans. I’m not a Republican for several reasons and this is one of them. The only reason I vote for any RINO now is to oppose an even worse Democrat. The GOP should not mistake my votes for approval.

if you mean 2016...
the fix was made in 2020...

But they do. And they know they have us over a barrel. And they support entrenched incumbents over any challengers and even if we populists lose the primary fight by backing a populist, at the end of they day they think “So who else are you going to vote for? THEM?”

Duh.
Yeah. 2016.

This speaks for itself:
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/11/rnc-chair-ronna-mcdaniel-says-despite-wyoming-gop-voting-no-longer-recognizing-liz-cheney-republican-still/
Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel on Thursday said she still considers Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) to be a member of the party after the Wyoming GOP voted to no longer recognize the Republican congresswoman.
“Obviously she’s still a Republican,” McDaniel said at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast in Washington.
“But I get from a state party standpoint when you have a congressperson or a senator who’s not supporting your state party, who’s not talking about electing Republicans up and down the ballot,” she continued. “The thing about that everyone should be taking note is that a state party is the most grassroots body that the state has. These are people who are running in their district committee and they’re going to their county convention and they’re getting on their state committee and they really represent where the party is in their state.”
“So that was their choice to do that and then the voters will make a choice in the primary in Wyoming,” she said, adding that she wished Cheney was talking about electing Republicans more.

Rep. Matt Gaetz: We don’t demonstrate our worth by 8-hour speeches that don’t change an outcome. We demonstrate our worth by executing a strategy that confronts this socialist ideology everywhere, that deprives them of momentum in every circumstance. We have to turn every committee in Congress into an oversight committee not a committee to facilitate lobbyist backroom deals.

Great analysis, as usual.

Oh oh. Mat Gaetz isn’t going to be liked by McCarthy.
I can’t trust MxCarthy as far as I can throw him. I think he’s a snake wearing an R jersey.

She speaks truth. McCarthy would be a weak ineffective speaker, just like his mentor Paul Ryan.
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2021/nov/25/marjorie-taylor-greene-kevin-mccarthy-lacks-suppor/?utm_source=RSS_Feed&utm_medium=RSS
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Georgia Republican, claims that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy lacks the votes to be speaker if the GOP recaptures the lower chamber next year.
Mrs. Greene joined fellow Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida on his “Firebrand” podcast, posted on Thursday morning, and she blasted Mr. McCarthy, California Republican, for the “failure of our leadership.”
“We know that Kevin McCarthy has a problem in our conference. He doesn’t have the full support to be speaker. He doesn’t have the votes that are there,” she said.
“There’s many of us that are very unhappy about the failure to hold Republicans accountable, while conservatives like me, Paul Gosar and many others just constantly take the abuse by the Democrats,” Mrs. Greene explained.
She specifically accused the GOP minority leader of failure to back her and Rep. Paul Gosar, Arizona Republican, when House Democrats decided to use their majority to strip both lawmakers of their committee posts over separate incidents this past year.
“Everyone saw me get stripped of committees as a brand new member of Congress, robbing my district of the ability to have representation working on committees. There was no action taken,” she said. “As a matter of fact, our leader did nothing to defend me, did nothing to stop it.”
“We saw Paul Gosar censured and then we saw him lose a committee. And this is another failure, but what do we see happening?” Mrs. Greene asked.
The Washington Times reached out to Mr. McCarthy’s office for comment and did not immediately hear back.

MTG is absolutely correct. I would love to know who she thinks could get the votes for speaker.

Based on what I see and hear, I'd like Jim Jordan.
