in the 23 Nov 2021 Boston Herald, there is an article about Nantucket considering allowing topless beaches.
"In order to promote equality for all persons, any person shall be allowed to topless [sic] on any public or private beach"
I had to look to make sure it wasn't 1 April or that they weren't quoting a satire source.

This is an idea I can support.
If anyone wants to go topless in Nantucket in November, more power to them.

There once was a girl from Nantucket
Who went to the beach with a bucket
When she got there
The guys tried not to stare
Because for clothes she had said "fuck it"

That’s not equality. Equality would mean each gender needs to be able to see the other gender’s most prominent sexual parts. Top for female but bottom for male. Equality would mean men must go bottomless if women are going topless.

Generally speaking, the folks that would welcome this option are the same folks that are best left covered up.

Except that it didn't say women MUST go topless. It said they should be ALLOWED to.
So I guess for equality, they should say men should be allowed to go bottomless. But I would definitely vote against that. That's the last thing I want to see when I go to the beach.

And the last thing I want to see are women’s boobs. So how is that equality? I thought woke females were offended at men gawking at their boobs. Let me guess, they want to be allowed to fling their boobs all around in public teasing men but then berate and criticize men for looking. It’s just like how they dress like sluts on the street then get offended when construction workers whistle at them. You can’t have it both ways, bitches.

It’s because liberalism completely ignores the laws of nature.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t necessarily approve of government laws regulating how or whether people dress. Cultural convention enforces social behavior including dress. Remember the days the police would patrol beaches with rulers and measure the distance between a woman’s knees and the hem of her swim skirt? That was very discriminatory to tall women like myself. Government has no business involving itself in how small your swimwear is.
But social convention does. From an biological standpoint, the sight of an attractive female undressed or under-dressed causes males to want to mate. So social convention dictates women should dress modestly, otherwise they can expect too much unwanted male attention. Liberals want to push the limits of social convention yet not pay the price. So much as look at her for a second too long these days you’ll get a sexual harassment accusation. Right along with the increase in the amount of skin females show is a corresponding increase in hostility toward the normal male response.
It’s all within cultural context of course. Tribes in the Amazon jungle where women never did wear tops, it’s a different story I suppose. If we in the temperate climes start going topless all the time maybe men will lose interest. Maybe it’s the fact that boobs are usually hidden that makes them so interesting. What do I know?

One of the things I enjoy about international travel is getting away from the prudish behavior of Americans when it comes situations such as topless or nude beaches, etc.
A large part of the rest of the world is not all wrapped up in this nonsense. You don't see people freaking out over a topless woman.

You’re correct in being interesting because they are hidden. Tan lines are sexy.
