In the lust to get SOMETHING on Trump, the Democrats are setting precedents they're going to be howling about in 3 years.
Do they really want the sitting president to waive confidentiality of the previous president's advisors? Because I'm pretty sure that in 2024, Republicans will control both houses of Congress and the presidency and they'll be investigating a conspiracy to conceal Biden's mental decline and asking who was really in charge...it's obvious it wasn't Biden.
Of course, they'll ask to speak with Biden and he will truthfully say that he cannot remember...
Never forget that you're always building the world you are going to live in.

True, but by then the Dems will forget what they did and claim the R’s are being unreasonable and damaging the political process for doing the same thing.
-
Historically, at least over the fifty to sixty years, the democrats have failed at thinking about how their action today affects them over the long haul.
Getting rid of the 60 vote rule, Massachusetts's constantly changing how to replace elected official come to mind.
The communist media will conveniently forget who enacting these rules just like they conveniently forget which party started a civil war to keep slaves on the plantations and created minimum wage laws to avoid free blacks taking jobs from whites.
Public school teachers will still not be intelligent enough to teach the truth, just repeat whatever bullshit heave been fed by the communist colleges and media, and the lower income workers will still be slaves to the democrat and their communist masters.
-
Dems are a big bag of constant fail, then obfuscating and projecting it.

The Uniparty within the beltway works to protect itself, so no, anything the DC's do now, a future GOP leadership will do nothing to them.
Except for a few that actually represent their districts or states, once inside Washington the majority are on the same team.

Did you ever read “The Winds if War” by Herman Wouk? It gives a real sense of how these elites are all friends, even diplomats on opposite sides of warring countries. It’s the ruling class against all the rest of us. And not limited to national boundaries.

Yep. As George Carlin said "It's all a big club, and you ain't invited!"
