Seems the Lunatic Left wants to keep us in a crisis of some sort. They absolutely loved the scamdemic and how they could just take away people's rights on a whim with made up "science". When that waned, we were off to the Ukraine war crisis and that was suppose to be the cover for how bad they were screwing over Americans, and of course more raiding of the treasury. Oh, and let's not forget their convenient oil crisis that is driving up energy cost so they can bring about their beloved New Green Deal.
Now they are ginning up the next crisis, food shortage. Oh what an opportunity. They need to get rid of meat production (actually shrink it, meat will be reserved for the elites) and put Americans on rationing and food lines. Disagree with their politics? Well, no rice and beans for you! Let's see just how compliant Americans become with their government controlled ration cards.
For the free states, the reality will be not a huge change as these areas know how to manage food production and distribution. For the Blue shitholes, look for all out carnage. The shitholes will of course demand that the free states provide for them.
Oh, and business? Look for more restaurants to be wiped out, and smaller grocers to be done away with. Gotta move that business to WalMart, Amazon and the big woke corporations. Can't have mom and pop with a family business! And those quaint farmer's markets? New regulations (you know, food handling safety) will take care of them.

With technology now, modern energy and food production, we have the resources to easily feed the world’s population for a thousand years, and with the coming population decrease, indefinitely really. There is no food shortage and never will be except that which is created by bad policy. War, sanctions, supply chain disruption, politics, artificially stifling energy and food producers by strangling them with regulations, we squander this great human progress and cause pointless suffering and death.

I trust the CDC about as much as I trust a fart after eating gas station sushi. ::)
What struck me are the numbers of poultry and turkey being destroyed to "protect us". Here we are facing rising gas prices and upcoming food shortages, and they are purposely destroying food.
What next? Start burning wheat and corn fields for some plant virus?
