In March 2022, Massachusetts changed how it counted deaths due to covid-19. And corrected the total count.
Previously, anyone who died of natural causes (as listed on the death certificate) was counted as a covid death if they had tested positive for covid-19 in the previous 60 days. It was changed to 30 days, and about 3800 deaths were removed for the total.
Now, as 1 April 2023 (ironically), the new definition relies almost exclusively on the cause of death listed on the death certification and applies to deaths occurring as of April 1, 2023. Interesting that they won't go back and correct the data.
(1984 comes to mind...)

They're afraid of class action lawsuits and/or criminal charges, so now they're rigging the data which only makes them more obviously GUILTY. These are among the first to be hanged.
