But wait. "Restructuring debt" is exactly what Trump has done, at least 4 times. At least that's what he told us, instead of talking about the reality of stiffing creditors.

Do you think Trump would be against this even though he's done the same thing?

This article has nothing to do with Trump.  It has everything to do with the current President and the current Speaker teaming up to shove this bill down the throats of every American, who will eventually foot the bill for this bail out.

Puerto Rico has a problem, let Puerto Rico work it out.

Actually...that might not be so bad.

Make the law that territories can seek bankruptcy protection.  If CA wants to do so, they surrender their statehood as a precondition.

I saw on Drudge this week that NY has a constitutional issue on their ballot.
It seems that upstate intends to break off and become Ne Amsterdam, leaving the lunatic far left to eat themselves alive without using the rest of the state as their piggy bank.

Hits nail directly on the head....  The precedence this will set turns the $20T in Federal debt into something much, much larger.

And "conservative" Paul Ryan is eager to work with BHO to help him achieve this.

Ryan is no more than Boehner V 2.0

Agreed....at some point we need someone in Washington that is willing to say NFW to this fiscal stupidity.  Ryan is apparently not that guy.

Illinois would like a similar division.  New Moscow (Chicago Metro) and the rest of the state remains Illinois, the once proud state of Lincoln.

IIRC, Colorado and California have Conservative groups exploring dividing off of their state.

Maybe THAT'S how Obama got 57 states.

I've known this was coming for a long time.  We the people in states that are fiscally responsible are going to have to bail out all of the communist/progressive/liberal states that have irresponsible fiscal policies.  Essentially the Feds are going to confiscate more of our money to bail out states that are a joke with money.  I am tired of politicians BUYING VOTES.

States rights need to matter, and they don't anymore.
