Kris Kristopherson blazed a trail thru country music the same way he blazed his way thru movies.

One of the greatest song writers, and easily among the most sincere and honest entertainers the world ever knew, passed away today at 88.

He will be missed.

His Dad was a U.S. Army General and Kris graduated from West Point, was an Army officer and helicopter pilot. He was offered a new instructor position at West Point, but turned it down to start a music career. His family thought he was crazy.

He made it big I'm music and movies. How amazing is that? No acting lessons either.
