I tried to post the text but it doesn't format correctly and I'm tired of trying.

It's a good explanation, but a minor quibble on two things:
"I’m voting for a return of our troops from foreign countries and the end to America’s involvement in foreign conflicts."
"I’m voting for peace progress in the Middle East."
I can't see any meaningful way to avoid these two goals from conflicting with each other.

America is like the stern parent who can say to two kids bickering, “Knock it off.” America does need a presence to enforce it. But we haven’t been doing it right lately. Taking sides and enabling ongoing conflict isn’t the way to do it.

We send Israel arms and we fund Iran and Lebanon so they can buy arms. I'd say that classifies as funding both sides.

One of the first things FJB did as president was to unfreeze Iranian funds. The previous president had them frozen, and due to embargos had it difficult for Iran to sell oil. This kept them in check.
Once FJB released the money, Iran began funding proxy wars and escalated terrorism. So yes, we funded Iran through a corrupt administration.
The US has been giving "humanitarian aid" to Gaza. And everyone knows that aid doesn't make it to the citizens, Hamas ends up with it. Same goes for the aid the administration has been giving to the Taliban.

Of course I remember that and I felt the same as you did about. I was just wondering if that was what you were referring to. I as totally against that even if it was their money and not MY money. We should have confiscated it and said FU.
