The whores who run delta airlines apparently have such hatred for America that one of them forced a female veteran to leave the plane and change out of her t shirt supporting veterans, or not board, and refused to allow to sit in the extra legroom seat she paid for when she did.
Fuck delta and the fucking whores that run their airline.
DEI is a shit hole that houses ignorant, bigoted, scum bags and allows them to feel important.
Fuck delta.

I guess "Aiming for Zero" would also be verboten

Oh come on. It was one stupid male flight attendant that happened to work for Delta. Not Delta.
If you have ever tried to hire a large number of people you would know it is IMPOSSIBLE to hire all perfect people.

but a good corporation would make it right. Use that idiot as an example of what not to do. Apologize to the passenger (and all the other passengers that had to witness that idiot's behavior).

This. That FA needs to be fired and the passenger groveled at the feet of in apology. Then Delta needs to publicly make a fat donation to that Veterans advocacy group.
-
The woke delta corp issued a terse response.
“The situation has been handled.”
Fuck them and their woke bullshit.
-
At least I know that FA wasn’t my SIL. He was male.
-
That FA needs a tour thru Marine Corps Basic.

Agreed.

Depends on how the situation was handled. I'd like to know, but I can see how Delta might think it's none of my business. They'd be wrong though. I am a potential customer, even though I have only flown with them twice in the past 10 years. Before that I banked almost 2 million FF points.
-
I've flown Delta and always hear them announce early boarding that includes active duty military (same with most other airlines.) They do have a written policy favorable to those on active duty:
https://www.delta.com/us/en/special-circumstances/military-travel/overview (https://www.delta.com/us/en/special-circumstances/military-travel/overview)
This incident sounds like a lone asshole at work.
The stories I've read on the incident state that Delta is trying to get in contact with the woman. They obviously can't do much if nobody officially complains.
-
That FA needs a tour thru Marine Corps Basic.
That pussy wouldn't make it past the yellow footprints.
-
I agree with the sentiment, but maybe let's pump the brakes a bit. We don't have (and likely will never get) the full story. Usually there's some bad behavior that doesn't make it into the story. There's also some things that don't add up - like she had to take her shirt off and stand there topless in the jetway? Why didn't she just put her sweatshirt on OVER the T-shirt?
Here's the view from the captain's seat (again, bad behavior that didn't quite make it into the story, but did make it into the comments):
-
Sorry.
I don’t fucking care about whether she genuflected at the altar of political correctness and begged to be forgiven for supporting veteran mental health. Rationalizing this away is is exactly what any lefty would be not only expecting, but Hoping for. I give no quarter to the fucking public relations department of the airline and hope they go fucking bankrupt.
Fuck them and fuck their policies. I support the woman losing her shit on those fuck wads, as any honest American should.
-
"misgender"
what a load of happy horse manure.

That’s the kind of horseshit leftists roll out when their lie is losing traction.
The fuckwad is a guy or a fucking broad. Pretending otherwise is indulging mental illness.
Fuck them and their gender bullshit.
Fuck delta for allowing it.
It gave me pleasure this morning to donate my existing skymiles to Luke’s Warriors veteran charity and close my account with the fuckwad airline.

Fair enough, my comment goes on the assumption that what happened was the FA saw the T-shirt and pulled her off the plane for that fact alone, and she had been totally docile and polite and said or did nothing to draw attention. It’s possible something else went down that she’s not telling us.
The implication is this was solely the FA’s act without any pilot involvement. I totally understand the pilot safety priority and why he would kick off the passenger in a dispute, but the story as presented was not a pilot decision but the FA deciding the mere fact of the t-shirt being anti- suicide, or maybe that it had the word “War” on it, was somehow threatening. Which is completely insane. Although it seems to be a symptom of the ridiculous trend these days that words are literal violence.

I sort of remember hearing that the FA was responding to a complaint/s from another passenger/s.
That still wouldn't explain it well enough for me. If that is true, I'd have put the complainers off the plane.

When in doubt, use the pronoun "It."

The entire Corporate DEI, Wokeness movement is crumbling as corporations are seeing it negatively effect their gross margins and stock valuation. Shareholders are pissed, as they should be.
Corporate execs are lemmings and when one starts, they all follow. Just like automates dumping EVs.
-
As a retired veteran this pisses me off. She’ll get an apology but the FA will get off lightly.

You don't think they'll fire him? Maybe he will get some remedial training. Maybe it's hard to find well trained FAs? I have no idea what the market is like. My SIL seemed to indicate they had high standards, but that was 7 or 8 years ago, maybe they've gone off the cliff with DEI since then.

FA’s? High standards? LOL!
When I see a half shaved head blue hair 5’ 300 pound princess that has to turn sideways to walk down the aisle, I hardly think of high standards. Or the flaming gay guy with his vest full of gay pride pins and other crap.
Or the guys wearing hair buns.
Sorry, high standards and flight attendants aren’t mutual.

Not anymore, it seems to have gone way downhill just in recent years. One can only hope their ability to perform in an emergency isn't on par with their lack of dignity or standards in appearance.

An HR person in my company used to be an FA way back when, still cute, and thin also. She told me they used to WEIGH them at hiring and periodically thereafter. Lol! Too fat? You're fired. Love it!

Ha! The 300 pound galley winches now don’t have to worry about that.

Well you have to think jet engines weren't as efficient as today. So keeping weight down where you cab is just good business.

Oh absolutely. I found that out when I was 19 or 20, back in the 70s, I thought I wanted to be a "stewardess" (the proper term) and I looked into it. Can't recall if I decided not to because I wanted to complete college instead, or because I realized I was an introvert who would rather fly the plane than deal with the unwashed masses in the back, or possibly they had height limitations too. I was almost 5'11". But I remember the weight limits. That wasn't an issue for me. It was just a passing thought anyway. One way to get into the sky, before I decided flying lessons was a better way.
-
They had height, weight, and age limitations and had to be unmarried.

That sounds right, the height limit might have been 5’9” which I exceeded by an inch and a half. Sadly, I would meet it now. Now I’m only 5’ 8 3/4” It’s true, you shrink when you get old. 🙁
And… now I wouldn’t meet the age limitation. And I’m married.

You became a pilot once you soloed, which was the objective.

I’m satisfied with that. Life is strange and doesn’t always work out exactly like you think it will. My whole childhood I had two parallel but mutually exclusive dreams. I wanted to travel in space and I wanted to be a mommy to a bunch of kids. The astronaut dream was killed the minute I became nearsighted in my teens (back then you had to have 20/20 uncorrected) so that left airplanes as the highest I could go. Then the stewardess dream was dashed, which didn’t suit my personality anyway, so that left me with flying bugsmashers.
Then I got married and the primitive XX biological imperative kicked in and trumped whatever masculine part of me thought I could do risky guy stuff and the rest is history. I had to settle for being copilot in the bugsmasher to a guy I specifically married in part because we shared that urge to “touch the face of God”.
No regrets. Our kids are the best accomplishments of our lives.

Technically, the 3rd class also is a Student Pilot certificate. So you don't even need to solo.
At least that was the case when I learned to fly back in '87.

No they are separate now. Been that way for years. You apply online for your SP Certificate, and go see an AME for a separate Medical Certificate.
-
Shame is a way for society to self correct. Don't want to be shamed? Improve yourself so you don't have to experience it. You accomplish something, feel better about yourself and build CHARACTER. Today's society had forgotten that.

I guess if you want to define it based on reality and not what you can prove to the world, I’d say whenever you are the sole manipulator of the controls AND without any verbal input at all from the CFI. If he’s sitting in the plane but saying and doing nothing, you’ve “soloed” and can fly “aw by myseff!” in the words of a 2 year old.
But it’s impossible to prove to the world you really did it by yourself unless you’re alone in the plane and if you want to count verbal input he shouldn’t even be communicating with you from the ground, I guess hence the “solo cross country” as the generally agreed upon standard. The cross country also involves navigation skills I guess without which you can’t really be called a pilot.
The other obvious requirement would be you manage to terminate the flight alive, preferably without damage to the plane, but even with, if you’ve walked away, it was an acceptable landing.

Shame the emotion or shame the process by which society corrects bad behavior? They are obviously related but not necessarily always in tandem.

If I knew that (which I probably did) I’d forgotten it. Mine was the same thing back in the day.

no thanks, I'll walk...

I don’t mind gay FAs. They’re perfectly fine, I like them.
The trannies creep me out. Because I suspect them of not being actual trannies, but attention seeking mentally sick straight men with a cross dressing fetish mated to an exhibitionist streak that I find rather offensive. Which stokes anti-trans sentiment which only hurts actual trans. The trans activist movement is very counterproductive and harmful to real trans.
Real trans don’t dress up as women while keeping a beard. They try real hard to pass as actual females and explicitly do not want undue attention. And they’re very rare. I have no problem with real trans (just don’t make me pay for bottom surgery with my tax dollars.)
These freaks with the body hair all in their silicone enhanced cleavage are sickening.
-
Maybe this explains what that FA’s problem was! He was associating the “war within” comment with Trump! Betcha a million dollars that’s what happened.

I don't mind gays or trannies, unless they hit on me or mine. And that hasn't happened in quite a while.
But THAT was butt ugly, which was the topic of conversation.

I’ve had exactly one gay male hit on me in my whole life. He was pretty aggressive, what today would be considered assault but he quickly took no for an answer and that was that; no harm no foul. I’m not the kind of psycho that would drag it up 45 years later to ruin his career with.
The gay females that hit on me, well that was a different story. Subtle and polite and no physical contact. Never had a tranny hit on me, thank goodness.
