Title: Who runs for President in 2028?
Post by: Bob Noel on November 04, 2024, 04:58:27 PM
Does Vance have the inside track for the nomination regardless of whether or not the dems steal the election again?

Can we get someone with real leadership abilities that can reach out to everyone (at least those willing to be united)?

As of right now I’d be okay with Vance. That could change.

I’m thinking Ron DeSantis will make a hard run with a better organization.

DeSantis/Vance would be awesome. Would Vance run as VP after 4 years as Trump’s VP though 🤔

Or would DeSantis feel humiliated to be the VP to Vance when he had presidential aspirations?

Bush ran for President, was VP, and then won election

there are others, including the clown currently occupyingdisgracing the white house.

I look for DeSantis to find a position in the Trump Administration after he leaves the governor's office.  Slight possibility he may run for the senate.

Vance will be a strong contender for 2028.  Ramaswamy is another one to watch.

Nikki Haley will continue along, but I don't see her moving up to a higher office.

True. Let’s say Vance gets two terms with DeSantis as his VP, then DeSantis runs and gets two terms. Although 5 Republican terms in a row would probably happen when Hell freezes over.

Trump.

No, I'm not kidding.
I believe he has already stated this is his last run a couple times. I think he said it in the Rogan interview and also today.

Quote today from  https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/watch-trump-announces-this-is-likely-his-last-campaign-as-he-casts-vote-for-general-election-in-palm-beach/ar-AA1tyt5y (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/watch-trump-announces-this-is-likely-his-last-campaign-as-he-casts-vote-for-general-election-in-palm-beach/ar-AA1tyt5y)

When asked if this is his last campaign, regardless of the outcome, Trump said, "Yeah. I would think so." He added that he would feel "sad and very fulfilled."
