I stand by my prediction that VP Harris will certify the election on Jan. 6. To not do so would be rank hypocrisy, and she'd be called on it immediately. Can you imagine the outcry? Won't happen. The election is over, at least for President.
Now come the down-ballot races. I see a very bright spot in my state of VT: the Democrat supermajority has been cracked. The GOP will have 11 seats in the state Senate at least, and Gov. Scott (who was re-elected in a landslide, as expected) says he expects at least 17 red seats in the state House. I have yet to learn who won the Lt. Gov. race.

My county completed counting 100% of the vote and published the result at 8:37 last night. No excuse for needing weeks to count votes, unless you want to cheat.
Electronic voting machines, tabulators, mail in ballots, election season vs election day are just all rouses to cheat, hence why most other countries don't allow this madness.
A paper ballot on election day is all that's needed. Each ballot can be serialized and scanned.
Florida has got the vote system down and should be a model for other states.

You're right! I had it on the interactive map. When you go to the main page, just www.270towin.com that's where you land. I was thinking it was the live map. I see now at the top to get Live Election Results you can click President and it gets you back to the live one, that is not interactive.
But to play with it, like you said, click the grey reset button on the right (after you click on anything) and it gives you live results but in INTERACTIVE form.

AP says their standards are that they will not call a state unless it is mathematically impossible for the trailing candidate to catch up. Not sure if they actually follow those standards - I saw a number of the states supposedly called with 0% of the votes counted. That could just be that the percentage displayed is generally very old, or they might be considering the demographics of the remaining votes. E.g. VT was called for Harris with 0% displayed. Even if that was really 40& and the margin was 60% to 30%, it would still be mathematically possible for Trump to catch up even if he doesn't get all the remaining votes. To rule out that possibility you have to know something about the voters whose votes haven't been counted yet.
I'm not sure what's happening in NV and AZ, but if that's how they determine when a state is won, it probably makes sense to hold off, if only to protect their reputation.

The Vice President is the President of the senate. Typically, he only shows up to break a tie vote or ceremonial.
However, if VP Vance wanted to, he could start showing up anytime the senate is in session, and for example if there was pending legislation to vote on that the Rinos don't want, or the majority leader doesn't want debate on it, VP Vance can over ride him and conduct the senate session.

They actually believe the economy is better under Biden and that we were at war all during Trump’s first term but things are relatively peaceful under Biden other than the evil Israel committing genocide in “Palestine” for no reason at all.
