What are your predictions?

I believe we'll see the Ukraine war spin down.

Agreed.  Look for Zelenskyy to flee the country.  Russia will stand down and hold their territory, but stop aggression.

Iran will back down, and Israel will get Gaza under control.   China will also back down and retool their positions on trade.

Best case, the spanking the Dems just received will tone down their plans to thwart Trump's inauguration, rioting will be minimal, and like you said, the world's beligerents will prophylactially start toning things down.  I hear the stock market has already responded positively.

Worst case? I don't even want to think about it. But it's really good we got the popular vote; that's going to make it harder for them to claim this isn't a mandate from the people.  Although I've already heard talk that somehow Russia stole the election for Trump.  Like Putin wanted Trump to win.  LMAO!

The IC will probably cook up a new scandal.  They are the most worried right now.

There will be a FLOOD of "migrants" at the border before Trump can shut it down.

The next few days / weeks will be interesting. Iran has promised to attack Israel, but not until after the US election. Will they show restraint now out of respect for Trump? Or will they try to take advantage of Biden's weakness and launch a major blitz?

Trump will be in a position to exact a heavy price on them if they do in just a little over 2 months. If they hold back, I'll be a little more receptive to the argument that Trump in office deters foreign aggression. So far it's all circumstantial.

Good question!  I'm leaning to they'll be more restrained. I sure hope so.

If history is any teacher, they will act up and get smacked in the wallet, cut off from selling oil to any country that wishes to do business with America, and ferment internal strife until civil unrest finally brings down their regime.

All of the things democrat communists couldn’t fathom in a hundred years.

What is the process for decommissioning a Federal bureaucracy?  I assume it would take legislation?  Maybe they can just really narrow the scope of something like DOE and then cut the funding way back?

These agencies fall under the executive branch.  The President has control over them. He can expand them, but needs Congress to allocate funding.  Conversely, he can reduce them in size and scope without congressional approval.

Look for the uniparty to go judge shopping when any action is taken, lawfare will come into play with injunctions.   The goal will be to keep it tied up in the courts.

Of course, the President can simply defund it.   We are all about to see how the Uniparty cares more about bureaucrats than taxpayers.

And they ALL need to be rounded up and DEPORTED, like the rest of them that entered illegally.  Including the Haitians and Venezuelans.

I believe that is precisely why President Trump sent the clear message to the new mexican president,

Stop the flow of migrants, or I will tariff everything you sell to Americans. She can comply voluntarily, or enjoy the loss of many billions in revenue.

Agencies are under the auspices of the Executive Branch, I suppose it only takes a stroke of the pen by POTUS.

Doesn't appear to be the case. It seems that Executive branch impoundment of funding that was authorized by congress has changed over the years. Currently a process known as rescission requires the executive branch to request congress agree to such impoundment, such request having priority of action by congress and requires a simple majority by both branches of congress.

Trump used the rescission process at least once during his first term.

I learned some of the above from this site that describes the rescission process and mentions Trump's use of it:
https://www.congressionalinstitute.org/2018/05/17/rescissions-rescissions-how-congress-can-use-the-rescission-process-responsibly/ (https://www.congressionalinstitute.org/2018/05/17/rescissions-rescissions-how-congress-can-use-the-rescission-process-responsibly/)

This site gives some constitutional history of impoundment and rescission going back to Jefferson's first use of temporary impoundment:
https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution-conan/article-2/section-3/take-care-clause-impoundment-of-funds (https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution-conan/article-2/section-3/take-care-clause-impoundment-of-funds)

I remember in 2016 being thrilled that Trump won (and that Hillary didn't!), but with each passing day, it became more apparent and profound, the enormity of that win.  By the end of the week, it was clear how large of a bullet we had just dodged.
I think by Friday we will realize that we just dodged a nuclear warhead.

Indeed. We were on the precipice of the new Dark Ages.

People are sick of climate change and EV mandates, and other Fascist restrictions.

Sick of open borders and the criminal hordes entering illegally.

Sick of the war on Fossil fuels.

Sick of DEI

Sick of Trans and LGBTQxyz

Sick of hate America first

Sick of inflation

Sick of endless expensive support of wars

I could go on.

I imagine something happening like in the movie "Downfall" about the last days of Nazi Berlin.  Papers being thrown out of windows and being burned, equipment being smashed, wild parties because it will all soon be over.  The final fateful meetings in the Bunker.  And then the realization hits that there really is no hope.  If you haven't seen it, check it out.  Very powerful.
