Just imagine if everyone that made offensive expletive-filled posts about President Trump and his supporters would resign.
More specifically, if those in the swamp would do so, DOGE wouldn't have much to do...
edit: yeah, I know, it's not the simple.

I used to love Scientific American. Decades ago, it was actually scientific. The articles were intellectually challenging just to read. At some point during the 2000s it completely crashed. The articles became watered down and with a heavy bias to the point they were hardly objective science anymore.

The ‘science’ became whatever the leftist mantra demanded it be.

Same with Wired. It used to be full of great news about technology. But now it's nothing but climate, woke, gender crap. Scientific American was great. And many other magazines that had news about technology and such have gone political. Why can't they just stay with what they are about?

I guess much of the problem is due to science being largely carried out by academic researchers and beginning in the 60s the universities began to be taken over by neo-Marxists. It took time for it to filter from the liberal arts to the sciences but it did, and now all the old professors have retired and the current crop of PhDs were all soaked in left wing ideology from the start, and they see everything through that lens. They have no other perspective.
It was long term generational programming by installing in impressionable youth a set of a priori premises and falsely labeling them as known fact. Now this set of false beliefs is the foundation upon which they build their “science”. For example, MMGW is real, capitalism is bad, indigenous people were all peaceful until white man arrived, women in the U.S. are oppressed, I could go on and on.

I'm afraid that you're right. For years the professional schools (law, medicine, business) and the hard sciences (including computer science) were pretty much immune to the insanity going on in the liberal arts schools within the university. We kept our heads out of politics and did cool stuff. What changed is not so much the faculty but the students. They MUST have years of liberal arts education before they get to the good stuff. And these kids all have the woke mindset. It invades the classroom where I'm seeing the most technical projects coming back with wokeness. The students are infecting the professors. As you said, the PhD students we're training to be the next generation of faculty are infected. I'm glad that I'm very close to retirement. When ideology replaces science, we're doomed.

I am desperately hoping the upcoming generation (Z I think it is?) will start the pendulum back in the other generation. The kids have more access to all information online now especially since Elon bought X and exposed the deep state’s censorship of everything. The mainstream media no longer has a monopoly on news.
