Here's the problem. There's no such thing as a "blanket pardon".
There's no such thing as "You are pardoned for anything illegal you may have done for the past 10 years".
FJB has entered uncharted territory in his son's pardon.

Pardoning a President who was forced out of office over (political) things that, compared to recent history, look like littering is different that pardoning the son of a sitting president for absolutely anything over ten years.

He'll get the Clinton treatment soon. Since he no longer has 5th Amendment privileges, he has to testify if called by Congress or the courts. The people who benefitted from his crimes will take him out to protect themselves. Just another drug addict who took too much, or so they will say.

That's not an unlikely scenario. He is baggage, and if he does talk, watch out. Lots of skeletons there, and Jill has the most to lose.

The communist would like to get us into a hot war as FJB leaves, then blame it on Trump as retribution for not allowing them power.
Lots of factors in play right now. With regards to Russia, Putin is not stupid and won’t fall for it.
Iran has backed down and they won’t get goaded into provoking any attacks.
China is worried about their economy and the impact Trump would have on it.
So while the democrat Communist would like to see a hot war, as well as the UniParty, they simply don’t have the participants willing to take the chance.

The CCP is indeed worried about their economy. They want super power status and they can’t do that if the country is broke. They have a producer society which means they need customers to sell their crap to, and if their markets shrink so does their economy.
And they don’t have an internal market to support the economy, they must rely on exports. Gordon Chang had written extensively on the dynamics of the CCP’s economics.

Lets not fool ourselves. The sham impeachment was really about protecting Joe from investigation. If they could have gotten rid of Trump, that would have been a bonus.
Likewise, this pardon isn't about protecting Hunter. It's about protecting Joe. If it hurts Trump, that's a bonus as well.
