Title: Anyone familiar with Lakeland Linder Airport?

Wondering if anyone is familiar with this airport or the local area around Lakeland FL. How is it flying in and out? Anything to do in the area to kill time? Any input would be much appreciated.

I think it depends on when you are talking about going.  Are you thinking of going during SunNFun?

Easy to fly in and out. Plenty to, Disneyweird, a lot of attractions nearby. Not far from Orlando or Tampa.

No, though I would like to go there for that in the future. I am looking at possibly relocating to that area and curious about how the airport is. Flying in and out, stuff to do nearby (restaurants, etc.)

Tampa has Busch Gardens and our kids and grandchildren love it.
It’s about 30 minutes west on I-4.
The fishing pier in on the bay is great if you like to fish.
Lakeland lacks much to do but Orlando and Tampa are so close it doesn’t matter.
