There’s a difference between economic globalism, which we already have and which is enabled by U.S. dominance of the world “Order” since WW2, and the sort of globalism promoted by the WEF, which would subjugate the United States to a one world government with a radical agenda to be imposed by force on everybody including such things as climate change nonsense, like ban fossil fuels, eat the bugs and so on.
The first type has lifted billions out of poverty, modernized countless countries and enabled anyone, anywhere, to be a consumer of virtually any product made from scarce resources from virtually anywhere else, at ridiculously low prices. The down side to this is that we have all become completely dependent on this global supply chain. Sudden and complete disruption would cause mass starvation and war. That’s why America MUST remain the world’s greatest superpower because it is we who protect this system.
There’s something looming on the horizon though that we need to prepare for. Economic globalism is possible when developed countries are well populated. There is an alarming downturn in birth rates in every developed and most developing nations that in many cases is already well below replacement rate. The only places this hasn’t happened yet are the shittiest shitholes of the third world, mostly Africa.
If this trend continues, nations and zones will find themselves needing to become more self sufficient, going back to manufacturing at home using their own resources or trading only with countries adjacent to them. I don’t know if Trump has this long term outlook in mind with his MAGA plan by bringing manufacturing back home or if he is just looking out for the individual interests of American workers but either way, he is reorienting us in the right direction.
The WEF and their globalist sympathizers are a step behind this long term projection. They’re stuck in the belief that human overpopulation is destroying the planet (look at the age of Klaus Schwab, he was programmed when that was the big scare, about the time China had a one child policy - equally catastrophically failing to extrapolate what was actually going to happen).
They think they need to take over control of everything to solve problems that will fast become non-problems even if you do absolutely nothing. (We will never run out of oil if the population collapse occurs and there is no reason to think it won’t.)
The actual purpose of the WEF’s “globalist fold” is to enable a few elites to expand their various ideologies all over the world (sustainability, DEI, family planning aka abortion, and so on) as part of an overall psychopathic drive for power for themselves. That’s it. And America must reject it completely and retain sovereignty over herself and over the shipping lanes she protects because while shipping may fracture and decrease, it will still be around for quite some time. Incidentally, that should include the arctic lanes opening up as “global warming” progresses, so we should obtain Greenland.
