I do too but I’m going to stay cautious here. I am all in on what Trump and Elon are doing, and all the other picks who are going after waste, corruption and the deep state. MAGA is definitely installing itself in power. And that’s a good thing because they are overthrowing a very evil corrupt regime who has itself installed itself into UNELECTED power.
Trump’s not going to declare himself a dictator and Elon’s not going to declare himself a dictator. They both have honorable intentions.
The goal is to replace the rotten, bloated administrative state with a smaller, streamlined, highly efficient government focused on getting things done. This is what Trump and Elon do in their business lives. So they are the right people to take a chainsaw to government overgrowth.
But business has the constant pressure of needing to make a profit. Government doesn’t. After Trump and Elon are gone, what’s to stop the new structure they put in place from falling back into old habits? Because they have no profit motive and are spending other people’s money.
Trump and Elon are very unique and maybe Vance will win in 2028 and is equally sincere, but eventually someone either on the right or the left will rise in power and not be working for us the people but revert back to using the system to gain control over everything.
The left is apparently being defeated but they will never be completely. The horrors that they committed these last 4 years has caused a right wing backlash which may go too far in the other direction.
The best that can happen is the Democratic Party reforms itself and once again becomes a viable option. I’m not holding my breath though. I’ve seen no evidence of it yet.

I see the NY suits as a way to send a message to all of the sanctuary states and cities. Puts them on notice that they could be next if they don't change things.

This is what I mean by absolutely historic. Never in my lifetime did I imagine a hardcore lifelong Democrat from the most iconic Democrat family in the history of the U.S. would flip to Republican and end up in the cabinet, with absolutely heretical ideas about our food supply and century long vaccine orthodoxy.
And that’s just ONE of the fronts of the transformation happening.
