I don't think we have a thread on this yet.  The would be opponent to Macron is Marine Le Pen who is very popular and would likely win, which is why they did to her exactly what they did to Trump. Lawfare to prevent her being elected. She was convicted and sentenced to prison on "trumped" up charges but has apparently won an appeal that will allow her to run in the election again, at least as it stands right now.

This is a good development. While they are both center-left economically, Macron is more progressive and more liberal on immigration, whereas Le Pen wants to be much more restrictive with immigration.  And if France wants to save their culture, they better be.

Macron is too interested in surrendering the country to the muslim invasion to allow a free election to interfere.

I heard a local radio host say every Trump indictment is worth 1M votes in 2023/2024.

I hope that is the case for Le Pen.
