Apparently Owen McIntire needs "gender affirming care" that he can't get in pretrial detention.

This one I actually agree with. The person is really mentally messed up: “He has well-documented medical and mental health needs—including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, depression, and gender dysphoria—that require ongoing care and structure, which can only be provided in the community.” As long as he's in custody (house arrest?) and getting the care he needs, I'm fine with him being out. I think there's no way for him to get the proper mental care he needs in prison. When he's convicted, I'm not sure how he will get the mental care he needs.
If he was just the usual tranny, then let him get his shots in prison.

Pretty sure this is a female despite the woke media calling it “he”. Has autism, depression and ADHD and is on meds for depression and ADHD as well as testosterone. ALL of these are “addictive”. While not exactly in the sense alcohol and opiates are addictive, they all affect your brain in a way that you get severe withdrawal if you suddenly stop them.
Even the testosterone. In women, testosterone supplements cause euphoria and increased energy, so the claim that she needs to continue her “gender affirming care” is legit in the sense that suddenly stopping it would be very uncomfortable. The fact that it would also be medically in her best interest to stop them is overlooked by all these idiots because it is permanently altering her fertility and appearance in ways she can’t possibly have given informed consent to by the age of 19. This is what they call “care”.
The depression and ADHD meds also are most likely doing more harm than good. They permanently alter the developing brain, the thing that isn’t mature for another half decade in her case. She’d do well to get off those, they are essentially no different from street drugs, except making big pharma rich.
She committed a violent act of terror. I don’t care if she has to suffer “discontinuation syndrome” in jail. Unlike alcohol withdrawal, which they force you to undergo in jail, it won’t kill you. Alcohol withdrawal will kill you but do they give your doses in jail to avoid you dying or release you so you can continue your “alcohol therapy” at home and not die? No.

Psych Units in hospitals are easy to escape from. This individual needs to be in maximum security detention with mental health care.
