I’m wondering of he’s just masterfully trolling them. The libs are the “tax the rich” party for sure. This should fry their circuits.

I listened to an excellent episode of Bill Maher’s Club Random (with Lewis Howes) and Maher talked about his basic ideology. He absolutely excoriated socialism and communism and by socialism he meant a complete centralized control of the economy. He is like your traditional Democrat in supporting “safety nets” for the less advantaged, and some of us consider that “socialism”. He said for example he favors some amount of forced taxation to take care of those in need. He himself is quite rich now, and he said, “I don’t mind paying a little more in taxes to help out people in need.”
Now: I am very interested in his reaction to this announcement of Trump’s. Maher also is pretty good about being consistent, not hypocritical, as in he refuses to follow along with the mob, but sticks to his own version of truth, as he sees it. He gives his honest take, no matter the consequences, and he has taken a lot of flak over it. So if he flips against Trump’s proposed higher tax on the rich, I will be very disappointed.

An increased income tax on very high wealth individuals will really do nothing. Most of the millionaires' income comes in from sources that are not taxed. This will trigger the liberals while actually accomplishing nothing. I like it. Let's see the libs adopt the mantra that taxing the rich is useless. HA!
