From December of last year, but reinforces a suspicion I've had for quite some time.

He could just be a close friend of and identify with Hillary Clinton and fellow democrats. But the result could still be the same.

Ok, I have lost track of how many times you have made that assertion.  Who knows, maybe you are right.

But if you are wrong, what would it take for you to admit it?  Would a series of aggressive attacks by Trump against Clinton do it?  Would it take him actually winning the general election?  Or if he does attack Hillary with a vengeance, and win, would you just point out how untrustworthy he is?

Maybe he just identifies as a Democrat so he can use their toilet?

At this point, with the way America is going and the craziness of this election, and the poor demeanor (especially Trump) of all the candidates, I don't know what the HELL to think anymore.

Yes, I will hold my nose and vote against Hillary.

Good question - a proper hypothesis needs to be falsifiable.

Maybe a tell-all book by Bill Clinton disclosing the exact nature of his phone call with Trump prior to Trump getting in the race?

I can't think of anything Trump could say or do that would put the lie to the theory.

Also, it may have started out that way - as a favor to Bill to help Hillary - and only later to Trump's surprise did he actually "run the table" and the preposterous became a real possibility.

Interesting times.
