Apparently "committed suicide" is going to be a forbidden phrase.
Reported in today's Boston Herald, a Boston city councilor:
"Councilor Sharon Dur-
kan argued that she felt
triggered by Flynn’s hear-
ing order, saying the issue is
“deeply personal” and that
she doesn’t have “animus”
with her colleague speak-
ing out about the problem.
Rather, Durkan said she
felt “really strongly about
not using the term ‘com-
mitted suicide’ and instead,
using the term ‘died by sui-
cide.’” Flynn’s hearing order
didn’t use the phrase “com-
mitted suicide.”
I know suicide can be a deeply emotional issue with people, a lot of veterans commit suicide, a lot of people have suicidal ideation, but geez, can we please focus on the fundamental problem and not go all pc-speak?

Last fall, on a particularly spectacular day, a friend told me that "Indian summer" is now considered offensive. I had never heard this before, but apparently the American Meteorological Society now uses the p.c. term "second summer" instead.

One of the cornerstones of a communist takeover involves altering language and rewriting history.
The stupid runs deep in most liberals.
