Yes, I've noticed the bias for some time. Fortunately I don't teach anything related to politics or even the humanities, but even so, I always tell my students that if they're going to cite Wikipedia, they have to show they've checked the information against an independent source.

I have no idea whether the historical details in that video (about the specific people involved in Wikipedia's decline from neutrality) are accurate, but the basic advice is spot-on: anything of a controversial nature stated on Wikipedia should be considered suspect unless checked against one or more independent, outside sources.

If you look at the wiki page of any random average conservative politician or influencer, chances are it will start off by saying they are “far right”.
