Can’t stand when people brush off bullying: “It was just goofing off in a locker room,” although I give the daughter a pass for saying it since she is grieving, and I am not saying it justified murder.

It probably would have been immensely more satisfying to merely beat the living shit out of that bully.

Haha yeah. Shooting him in the face, he never knew what happened.

Bullying is not a justification for murder
Does that even need to be said?

Why not. I think justifiable homicide doesn't get enough respect. FAFO.
There are lots of people that need killing. Why protect and defend them?

Where do you draw the line?
And in no way am I defending bullying.

There’s the “some people just need killing” school of thought. And while we aren’t supposed to engage in vigilante justice, when the official channels fail to mete out justice, I don’t have a big problem with people taking matters into their own hands.
Not in this case though, without knowing more details. It appears this guy had a screw loose. Who knows whether the locker room incident went as he said, or remembered. And it seems not to have resulted in physical harm which doesn’t minimize the seriousness of emotional and psychological harm done by bullying, but doesn’t justify murder. Murder would be justified if you, say, killed his child, and the legal system let them off.
And 50 years later? Come on…
