Title: Federal agencies invade Bluesky
Post by: Rush on October 18, 2025, 06:19:35 AM
This has got to be THE funniest thing Trump has done yet!  Last night about a dozen federal agencies, plus the White House itself, created accounts on the lefy platform Bluesky, where all the libs fled when Elon bought Twitter.

When one lives in a make-believe world where they think that their opinions are 'legal,' and anything else is 'illegal,' then having a freak storm when someone shows up and blows that concept all to hell must be quite disturbing.

Funny but juvenile.  Intentionally antagonizing the democrats is how we ended up with a Biden presidency.

How so?  I thought we ended up with a Biden presidency because:

1.  The deep state suppressed the Hunter laptop story. One poll of Biden voters in swing states found that 17% of them would not have voted for Biden had they known, and 9% would have voted for Trump. This would have swung the election.

2. Universal mail in ballots because covid. This alone might also have swung the election if allegations of fraud are true.

Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. I'm tired of having to be nice to the America haters who want to destroy my quality of life .

1)  " antagonizing the democrats" <chuckle> - consider what democrats get "antagonized" by.*

2)   "antagonizing the democrats" had nothing to do with get that moroon "winning" the 2020 election.

* what's the line about angering a liberal?  tell them the truth.

I do not believe there is a shred of truth in that claim.

Oh, I think there's at least a shred.  Back during Trump's first term he intentionally pissed the left off.  This was satisfying to us here, but by the time the second-term election came around, the democrats were so slobberingly mad that they would have voted for ANYONE just to get rid of Trump.  (...and it worked) He's doing the same thing again, making the 2028 election more difficult for the follow-on candidate.

As I have said before, if Trump would just ACT like a politician (you know, a lying, conniving suit) he would be much more palatable.

there is NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING that President Trump could do that would make the democrats happy.

except, perhaps, insert line from "Independence Day":

President:  What do you want us to do?

Alien:  Die.

Exactly--thank you.  The hatred for Trump runs so deep that at this point a substantial portion of the democrat party thinks that assassinating him would be acceptable.

All I am saying is that antics such as described in the OP do nothing more than make life more difficult for his (hopeful) successor.

The idea that there is anything the right could do that the left would appreciate is as silly as gwb spending eight years being the democrat communist party’s bitch and all he got for it was hatred, lies and bullshit… just like now.

I’ve wished for years that my hoodwinked lefty friends could see what the Trump Administration is doing on behalf of the American people. That the Administration is DOING ITS JOB. But of course they won’t look at or don’t believe what, say, the DHS, DOT, DOW, etc. are posting on X.

So now, the departments can post obliquely and with humor right in the lion’s den, getting tons of attention. It’s Trump’s gift, really … make leftists see what they don’t want to see, then make them take a stand against something so obviously good that they look like the anti-American idiots they are.

Social media, unfortunately, is a tool that anyone interested in promulgating human flourishing must pick up and use.

Edit. It just occurs to me that maximum irony value would be achieved, though, if Bluesky banned the government from posting.

Exactly. Insert yourself inside their bubble. If they ban the official government (like they did Trump from Twitter), it only shines a big spotlight on their hypocrisy. And look where that got Twitter.

And there’s a strong argument that what happened to Twitter is what got Trump elected in 2024.

The left keeps going too far and it keeps biting them in the butt.
