Title: Blue Angels

I cannot adequately express how much I love this.

This clip is from season 2022 2023 and the camera is in plane #2 piloted by Chris Kapuschansky.

Edit: I believe I was mistaken, this is season 2023 because Scott Goossens is in the #4 plane, not the #3.

I just watched “The Blue Angels” on Amazon Prime. It’s pretty good. Learned a lot. Like how they stay in formation. “He puts his head 18 inches under the line between the blue paint and the yellow paint on the wingtip.”

And then the tight one is, he’s 12” under the Y painted on the wing.

Proof I have no balls. I could never do that.

I've seen the Blues a few times along with the TBirds, and a few others. Always a good time.

The Thunderbirds are coming to Houston (Ellington Airport) this fall. I’m now a hermit who hates going anywhere but I might just consider this…

Netflix has a good one on the Thunderbirds and National Geographic had a recent good one on Navy/Marine pilots during their last few months of trainig.

Hubby sent me this. It’s clips from the documentary set to music, if you like Aerosmith.

Starting about the 3:00 mark where he does the straight vertical climb, I got to do that when I went up with Phil Knight. Of course it wasn’t a jet. But it’s one of my fondest memories of my whole life. But this Blue Angel, it looks like even more fun.
