I love his stuff. As a veteran there are things most people wouldn't understand or appreciate the mundane side and the bullshit of the military. This just hits a certain way.

I’m not a vet so not sure what you mean but I can imagine the analogy to this guy’s stuff, the way he distills entire collective countries’ mindsets down to such mundane petty takes, and they’re so true. It’s so stupid. But so true.

Is that like the military puts an important formal face on something that’s actually just s stupid ordinary human thing?  It’s like everything we humans do is basic and simple, but we like to dress it up like it’s got some kind of profound meaning.
