Rockers are dying out now. What a great time and I'm glad to have participated and lived through it.
BTW, the name "3 Dog Night" is an aboriginal term. In the out back when it got cold at night the Aborigine would sleep with a dog to stay warm. If it was really cold, 2. So a really, really cold night was a "3 dog night".

We saw Chuck twice in recent years at the Ryman in Nashville, he was performing as part of the Happy Together Tour. Saw Three Dog Night on several occasions. Once in Orlando when the got back together and once in Fort Worth, TX at Billy Bobs.

Weird how all these young peers of mine are dying.

83 so not so young plus he had serious drug problems years ago, including heroin addiction. Great voice, still have their vinyl albums from back then.

I LOVED Billy Bob's Texas.
It had the biggest bar I have ever seen.
I took my bride there to see Bobby Bare about 40 years ago.
It was late on a Saturday night after the evening rodeo,
and he lit that place up.
Great times.
Great place.
Great music.

No I mean he’s gotta just be in his 40s or something, right? Right?
He can’t be 83. That would mean I’m old.

You are NEVER going to be old.
